Dandorph has served as president of Rush University System for a leading health system in the metropolitan Chicago area, Health and Rush University Medical Center. His professional experience comprises virtually every aspect of the health care landscape, from great academic medical centers to more insignificant community hospitals and health plans. Mr. Dandorph is an innovative strategist and collaborator with an inclusive attitude, enabling teams to enhance the lasting impacts on the lives of our patients and the health care community as a whole.
Michael J. Dandorph is thrilled to be selected by the Wellforce board to lead the health system at such a critical time of change in healthcare. Prior to being named as the President at Rush, Dandorph spent three years as CEO and executive vice president for clinical affairs. He has also spent 17+ years at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, leading Penn's managed care efforts, creating robust network affiliations and partnerships, while expanding clinical programs.
